Static Advantages: Pawn Islands

[#] Black has two pawn islands and White has three. As the king activity is approximately equal, the pawn islands factor puts Black in the driver's seat straight away. In general, it's said to activate your king in the center. The point of this is because the king can go in either direction from there, but, if you already see a target and a direction where your king will be more useful, you can go there directly.
